Kimberly A. Brown has over 17 years experience in environmental engineering and planning. Ms. Brown’s experience has been accumulated as Senior Planner for the Broward County Environmental Protection Department, Senior Engineer for Cooper Engineering Corporation, and Principal of Kimberly Ann Brown and Associates, Inc.
Her experience has been primarily in the area of new development planning and permitting, evaluating the environmental impacts associated with various projects such as highway additions, intersection improvements, parking garages, mass transit alternatives, convention centers, airports, power plants and others. She is very familiar with the development process, and the governing federal, state and local environmental rules, regulations and permit requirements.
Ms. Brown has conducted numerous air and noise assessment studies. She has managed the production of over forty parking facility license applications and ten DRI applications. Ms. Brown has also managed numerous Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Site Assessment Reports (SARs), Contamination Assessment Plans (CAPs) and Remedial Action Plans (RAPs)
Ms. Brown’s duties include project management, staff assignment, technical review of evaluations, conclusions and recommendations, and quality assurance and compliance of all projects completed by KABA.
